Work may be conducted in winter months and includes installation of 2,098 feet of 8" directionally drilled water main, 685 feet of 8" open cut water main, water services, and all appurtenant work thereto, and other incidental and miscellaneous items of work in accordance with the contract. The work shall be performed on Brier Street between Roger Avenue and Meadow Road, on Maclean Avenue between Brier Street and Ridge Road, and Park Drive between Ridge Road and Sterling Road. All locations are under Village jurisdiction. The Village Board is the awarding authority and will only award a contract if it is in the best interest of the Village. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any bidder's proposal and to waive any irregularities in the proposal. Work shall be completed by April 28, 2023. The proposed work is officially known as "BRIER STREET, MACLEAN AVENUE, AND PARK DRIVE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT". The work included in this Contract shall consist of furnishing all the materials, labor, equipment and incidentals required for approximately 2,098 feet of directionally drilled 8-inch PVC C900 water, 685 feet of open cut 8-inch PVC C900 water main installation, 65 waterservices, valves, fire hydrants, concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, pavement patching, restoration, and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement in the Village of Kenilworth.
