The City of Chico invites qualified professional firms to submit a proposal to provide geotechnical services at the Chico Municipal Airport. The City is following the Operations and Maintenance Manual prepared for the Chico Municipal Airport June 28, 2016 per the Settlement Agreement and Consent Decree Re Airport Site. Both of these documents are attached in the Request for Proposals. The Operations and Maintenance Manual was prepared for two groundwater extraction and treatment systems which are designed to treat and control groundwater at the Chico Municipal Airport. Deadline for Final Questions ............................................................. (no later than) September 23, 2022 All inquiries regarding this RFP must be submitted electronically. The City intends to award a single contract for a term of one year which may be extended, at the option of the City, for two additional and successive one-year periods. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive minor irregularities in said proposals, or to negotiate minor deviations with the successful firm. In the case of differences between written words and figures in a proposal, the amount stated in written words shall govern. In the case of a difference in unit price versus the extended figure, the unit price shall govern. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
