Renovation of a medical facility in Sparta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,351-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility.
Renovation of Hancock County Health Department The project is funded, in part, by a Community Development Block Grant. Bidders must comply with all Department of Community Affairs requirements, wage rates, etc. and must not be on the debarred list. Section 3 employment procedures must be followed as well. Refer to the CDBG Clauses in the project manual. Bidders are to provide Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit at the time of bid proposal as well as a Bid Bond. Omission of any of these completed forms can make the bidder non-responsive. Both a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 110% of the Contract Price will be required. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance will be required with Hancock County listed as an additional insured. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Funds in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the best interests of Hancock County.
