RFP - Solar Photovoltaic Systems on Closed Landfill and Building Rooftops. The Montgomery Regional Solid Waste Authority (the "Authority") is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors for the design, development, construction, management and operation of solar photovoltaic systems at the Authority's closed landfill and on the roofs of Authority Buildings (the "Project"). The Request for Proposal ("RFP") may be obtained from Alan Cummins, Executive Director, Montgomery Regional Solid Waste Authority, 555 Authority Drive, Christiansburg, VA 24073; contact by email at mail acummins@mrswa.com; by mail at P.O. Box 2130, Christiansburg, VA 24068-2130 or by phone at (540) 381-2820. The RFP is being issued pursuant to Virginia's Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2001, Va. Code Section 56-575.1, et. seq. and other law. Submittal and project descriptions, requirements, evaluation criteria and other details are included in the RFP. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept the proposal or any item of the proposal deemed most advantageous to the Authority. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
