As of October 14, 2022, project was awarded to O’Donnell Construction, awarded amount is $134,502.85. Sugar Grove Fire Protection District is accepting bids for the proposed parking lot improvements at the Fire Station 1 site located at 25 Municipal Drive in Sugar Grove, Illinois. Work includes the sawcutting of existing pavement, removal of concrete and asphalt pavement on the west side of the fire station as detailed in the Civil Engineering Site Plans. Contractor shall install new downspout drain lines and pavement under-drain lines as detailed in the plans, fine grade and compact the existing stone subgrade and install new concrete and asphalt pavement. Parking spaces shall be re-striped. Sugar Grove Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive or not to waive any informalities therein or to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District . The fire district wants all work to be completed this year. All work shall be completed before the asphalt plants close or by November 18, 2022, which ever date is the earliest.
