Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Readington Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work will be funded by the Township of Raritan. The major construction items include: Base Bid: 16,835 s.y. Full Depth Reclamation; 2,050 tons HMA 9.5M-64 surface course 2" average thickness; 36 l.f. 9"x 18" concrete vertical curb; 25 l.f. granite block curb; 83 s.y. concrete sidewalk, reinforced 4" thick The Township shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Raritan Municipal Building, One Municipal Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. The successful bidder must comply with all the previsions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.1 et. seq. for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDs). In addition, bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, Chapter 127(N.J.A.C. 17:27), as well as the provisions contained in the project's Socially and Economically Disadvantage Individuals (SEDs) Utilization Plan. Neither the United States, the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust, nor any of their departments, agencies, or employees, is or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Township of Raritan Mayor and Committee reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit of the Township of Raritan.
