The work to be done generally consists of repairing bridge joints, treating bridge decks, repairing damaged timber and concrete bridge elements, and cleaning and painting locations of rusted steel members. This BPMP work will be performed on eight bridges at various locations throughout the County, including reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, precast prestressed, timber, and steel bridges. General Location: Bay Point, El Sobrante, Orinda/Martinez, Knightsen, Brentwood, Byron Supervisory District: 1,2,3,5 Locations: Bailey Road, Bay Point Pomo Street, Bay Point La Honda Rd, El Sobrante Bear Creek Road, Orinda/Martinez Hoffman Lane, Byron Delta Rd, Knightsen Marsh Creek Road, Brentwood Vasco Road, Byron Bid Due Date: TBD Funding Source: HBP (Federal), SB1 Local Road Funds Working Days: 85 working days Construction Date: Summer 2023 This project is partially funded by federal funds from U.S. Department of Transportation. The prospective bidders are required to comply with 49 Code of Regulations (CFR) Part 26. The prospective bidders must meet the project-specific Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal or document the Good Faith Effort (GFE) process. It is important to note that to comply with the County DBE program's Good Faith Effort, the bidders must take certain actions a minimum of 15 days prior to bid opening.
