Renovation of a mixed-use development in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids for the Welding Lab Project will be accepted from qualified contractors by Genesee Intermediate School District for Genesee Intermediate School District. The contract for this project will be direct with the owner, Genesee Intermediate School District. Overall administration of the project will be the responsibility of the Project Consultant, Unified Building Systems. The Owner is expecting to award the contract to the successful bidder by November 2022. All bids will be submitted on forms provided in the Contract Specifications. Facsimile bids will not be accepted. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid. 1. Familial Disclosure (Attachment C) in compliance with MCL 380.1267; a sworn and notarized statement disclosing and familial relationship that exists between the Owner or the employee of the bidder and any member of the school district board, superintendent, or employee of the school district. 2. Vendor Certification Form (Attachment D) and attach this information to the bid. 3. School Safety Affidavit No bid will be accepted that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, award the bid to other than the low bidder and waive informalities, irregularities, and/or errors in the bid proposals, which the Owner feels to be in his best interest. . No more questions will be answered after 12:00 p.m. on 10/3/2022.
