To provide professional consulting services with experience in the development of sustainable neighbourhood action plans (SNAP) / net-zero planning for the Sandwich South lands. The SNAP shall be developed to reach objectives on energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water, wastewater, stormwater, waste management, biodiversity, economic, active and public transportation, and housing affordability and energy poverty issues. The final SNAP will consist of a Background Study, Sustainability Vision, Goals and Strategies, Implementation Plan and final report delivery. The SNAP development will be informed by administration along with extensive public consultation and engagement. This project is being guided by a multi-disciplinary team including the Project Administrator (Supervisor, Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change), and City staff from Planning, Building, Transportation Planning, Transit, and Housing. Acceptance or rejection of any proposal will be made in accordance with City of Windsor Purchasing By-Law No. 93-2012 and amendments thereto. This procurement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), approved July 1, 2017.
