Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hollis Township, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed work is officially known as "Hollis Township Road District - Concrete Paved Ditch Improvements". The project will involve concrete paved ditches. Construction shall begin following bid approval. Bids shall be made on a unit price basis. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be certified bank check or a bid bond. The Hollis Township Road District reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, award shall be made to the low, responsible Bidder after the Bid evaluation has been completed. Eligible contractors shall comply with the Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Act, (820 ILCS 265/) and the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01, et seq.).
