Renovation of a municipal facility in Powell, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Metal Roof Replacement. The project will consist of replacement of metal roofs at three (3) fish hatcheries in Powell, Wyoming. All houses are located at the Clarks Fork Hatchery, Res #1 (28 Hatchery Road), Res #3 (36 Hatchery Road), and Res #4 (38 Hatchery Road), Powell, WY 82435. All questions shall be submitted no later than Wednesday, October 12, 2022 by 1:00 p.m. on the Public Purchase online bidding system. A. Plan and communicate work schedule with Agency representative. Work should only take place during suitable weather conditions. B. Protect unfinished work from potential rain, wind, and sun damage while not onsite working. C. Complete the work in a timely fashion and minimize the disturbance to the people living in the houses. D. Remove and properly dispose of existing tar and gravel roofs. This also includes any underlayment materials that may be present. E. Remove and properly disposal of rain gutters, downspouts, and any facia board covering/drip edge that may be present. F. If necessary, also removal and reinstallation of any owner items, such as satellite TV dish, wiring, etc. G. Follow Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA) technical standards and guidelines when installing new metal roofing. H. Clean and prep the surface of the roof for the installation of the new metal roofing materials as recommended by the manufacturer. If needed, this will also include but not be limited to, adding or replacing damaged fascia boards, soffit, insulation (must be at least an R30), plywood roof decking, and fasteners. Please work with owner on this. Through the change order process, the contractor can be reimbursed for unforeseen items. I. Roofing must be warrantable by the manufacturer at a 1:12 or greater roof slope. For example, the Bridger Steel Tru Snap with a 1.75" rib height and mastic. J. If contractor chooses to use the Bridger Steel Tru Snap roofing, follow Bridger Steel Tru Snap roofing reference and follow instructions identified in the Attachment, Installation Guide. Installation must include the items identified in. Owner will pick color. Contractor may use a different metal roofing product, as long as it is warrantable at a roof pitch of 1:12 or greater (work with owner on alternatives). K. Install a high temperature ice and water shield underlayment to entire roof decking. Roof decking must be clean and suitable for underlayment application as recommended by the manufacturer. L. Install metal roofing materials as approved and recommended by the metal roofing manufacturer. M. Flash all roof penetrations using manufacturer approved methods & materials. N. Install new metal drip edge and/or fascia board covering, around the entire house roof, using manufacturer approved methods & materials. Owner will pick color. O. Install new seamless metal gutters and downspouts, with .027 inch or greater thickness. Installation must follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Owner will pick color. P. Provide 5 year water tight warranty.
