Renovation of a municipal facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Respondents are to provide Construction Management services for the provision of fire alarm and sprinkler systems upgrades at the Toronto Courthouse at 361 University Avenue, Toronto. The Project will utilize the CCDC-5B contract (construction management at Risk). During the engagement of the work the contract, IO may amend the contract to a CCDC-2 (Stipulated Sum contract). Both the CCDC 5B and CCDC 2 will be supplemented with IOs Supplementary Conditions and Project Specific Supplementary Conditions. The costs of construction will be based on a cost-plus arrangement as follows; Construction Managers Fee, including all reimbursable expenses. This will be a monthly fee to cover all CM personnel, labour, taxes, initial bonding costs etc. Construction Managers Percentage Fee applied to the approved Cost of the Work (sub trade packages); Cost of the work (sub trade packages); and Specified reimbursable expenses (e.g., bonding costs if the project extends beyond a certain time period). Unless specified - all other reimbursable Infrastructure Ontario issues this Request for Qualification for Fire Alarm and Sprinkler System Upgrades at Toronto Courthouse (361 University Ave Toronto). A maximum of six (6) Respondents to this RFQ will be prequalified to participate in the RFP process, to be released at the end of November 2022. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
