The Project consists of constructing approximately 1,300 LF of concrete sidewalk along Menser Avenue from 3rd Street to the western most driveway entrance to Athol Elementary School. Work also includes excavation, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, removal and relocation of signage as required, pavement striping, and other miscellaneous items to complete the work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Award of the construction contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. This project is a high City priority and is required to be completed in 2022.
