The City of Eugene wishes to engage up to 3 qualified contractors on an as needed basis to provide the City with mowing services in natural areas and undeveloped park land. The work is a component of habitat restoration, fuels reduction, and general vegetation management. Projects will occur in City parklands managed for ecological, environmental, and recreational values. Work under this contract will address mechanical removal of grass, broad-leaved plants, and sometimes sparse woody vegetation The initial term of this contract shall be for one (1) year and the term may automatically renew annually for up to a total of four (4) additional years, as mutually agreed to by the City and the Contractor. This contract may be terminated earlier in accordance with the termination clause elsewhere in this document.
