Previously the City issued and awarded a similar RFP/contract. The purpose of this RFP is to establish multiple retainer agreements based on specialty (i.e. painting, roofing, etc.) between service contractors and the City of Eugene for minor projects on an as-needed-basis. Proposals shall be valid for ninety (90) days after opening unless otherwise specified in the specifications. This Request for Proposals does not commit the City to pay any costs incurred by any Proposer in the submission of a Proposal. In general, work includes performing minor alteration, emergency work, and medium sized repairs for the types of services listed below. The City may add services as needed and may make multiple awards per trade. 1. Painting 2. Roofing The projects that these services may be requested for are considered public works therefore all contracts issued as a result of this RFP will be subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Proposers are required to consult the BOLI publication for Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon Subject to State PWR Law and all subsequent amendments.
