As of 11/23/2022 project was not yet been awarded. No estimated time frame yet. Requirements: Repair both sanitary manholes and water mainline valves from a list supplied by the City in Excel format. Monthly electronic reports will be submitted to the City indicating the progress of the contract. Quantities shown are intended to assist bidder in determining approximate quantities required for this bid. These figures should not be used as a final determinate in establishing exact quantities. No guarantee of quantities is intended, expressed or implied. Quantities are subject to revision by City staff. Unit cost should include parts and labor. Every effort should be made to accommodate businesses who need uninterrupted service during normal business hours by arranging a time which will cause the least amount of inconvenience to the business. This may include weekends and non-traditional working hours. There shall be no extra charge for travel, nights, weekends or holidays. In order to qualify, Contractor shall provide a minimum of 3 references and have 3 years' installation experience by individuals trained in methods of installation by the manufacturers. Personnel shall have confined space entry certification. Field verification shall be completed by the contractor prior to commencement of work. The Contractor shall use competent and qualified persons who are experienced in the water maintenance procedures. Any work or repair performed by the Contractor shall be properly supervised by the Contractor so that the work or repair is performed in an efficient, and expeditious manner. Employees of the Contractor shall readily identify themselves as a contractor for the City when communicating with the City's customers. Maintenance personnel shall possess picture identification cards and wear distinctive clothing bearing the Contractor's name. All the Contractor's employees shall wear their picture identification cards when calling on customers. All the Contractor's vehicles used in the performance of this Agreement shall display the Contractor's name. Questions regarding this bid must be received by the City of Sugar Land's Purchasing Office no later than 3:00 P.M., Thursday, September 29, 2022.
