Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for paving for a fire / police facility.

Question Deadline 10/20/2022 at 3:00 PM PT Questions regarding this Project shall be submitted in writing to Angela Carlson via email with the subject line of 21022 FS10: Bid Question. Questions received via phone or any other method other than email will not be accepted. The Project consists of all work to be performed indicated in the Project Manual, Drawings, and. posted Addenda. The Project includes construction services related to two (2) parts: building and site work associated with. Fire Station 10 Construction Project (Part 1) and site work and right-of-way frontage improvements (including signals) along 112th Ave NE and NÈ 12th Street (Part 2). It is the City's intent to award a single contract for both parts ofthe project scope of work. Part 1 of the Project includes construction of an approximately .26,5.21 square foot, new two story Fire Station and associated ed site demolition, site work building construction including. new station will include administration offices, four (4) apparatus bays, operational support spaces, crew living spaces, and sleeping rooms. The site work will include storm water mitigation, wetland, mitigation/restoration, utilities, landscaping, station and visitor parking, and additional work as identified in the Contract Documents. Part 2 of the Project includes utility relocation, sidewalk, and traffic improvements (including signalization) and. right-of-way frontage improvement work along 11.2th Avenue NE and the intersection of 112th Avenue NE and 1.2th Street as identified in the Contract Documents. Interested contractors and subcontractors should meet in front of the project site. Please check in upon arrival. Minimum social distancing and mandatory masks will be required per current State of Washington COVID-19 health requirements. Anyone that attends with symptoms ofCOVID1.9 or not properly wearing a CDCcompliant mask over the nose and mouth will be directed to leave. A temperature station will be provided at the sign in table and all participants will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and proper masking prior to be allowed entry to the site. It is strongly recommended that participants arrive in time to be screened prior to the meeting start time. There is no onsite parking available. Park away from the project site entrance/ exit area. There is no parking allowed onsite nor in area residential and office complexes. Please plan accordingly. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cer- tified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5-percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should, the successful bidder fail to enter a contract and furnish a satisfac- tory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue The Citys fair practices/non discrimination polices, and the State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in King County. Bidders are respon sible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The Effective Date for this Project is the Bid Form due date above. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor & Industries website located electroniocally WITH DRAWAL OF BlD: No bid may be withdrawn after the date set for the public bid opening for a period ofsixty (60) calendar days. The area to be redeveloped is approximately 2-acres currently developed with single family homes. The proposed conditions will consist of a new fire station and associated landscaping and paving. Frontage improvements will consist of restriping and widening 112 th Avenue NE to include a new bike lane and associated buffer.
