Site work for a water / sewer project in Tampa, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Hillsborough County Water Resource Services requires qualified firms to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) with experience in Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery to provide pre-construction and construction services for the Ruskin and Wimauma Low Pressure Sewer System and Septic Conversion Project as further defined in the attached Request for Qualifications documents, Technical Specifications and Plans. In accordance with Hillsborough County Ordinance No. 21-17 (Construction Apprenticeship Program), the requirements and resulting contact requires at least 12% of the Labor Hours for Apprentices. The Project includes services for the construction of a centralized vacuum sewer system in the Ruskin and Wimauma areas. This will include construction of six (6) new vacuum sewer pump stations, approximately 58 miles of vacuum sewer main ranging in size from 4" to 12", approximately 1400 vacuum collection pits, approximately two (2) miles of force main ranging from 8" to 12", and the removal and replacement of approximately 16 miles of existing water main ranging in size from 4" to 12", as well as roadway restoration throughout the Project area. The scope of work for this Project consists of CMAR services that include, but are not limited to, review of design documents provided by Engineer of Record, constructability review services, cost estimating and value engineering services, permitting, construction services, site and roadway restoration, and start-up, commissioning, and turnover services for the vacuum sewer pump station and collection system. The CMAR Project will be delivered in two (2) Tasks: Task 1 - Initial Pre-Construction Services for Ruskin and Wimauma Low Pressure Sewer System and Septic Conversion Project - Review of initial design packages from Engineer of Record, initial constructability and value engineering reviews and workshops, initial Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate based on the best available information and develop a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal to construct the Project. Task 2 - Construction Services for Ruskin and Wimauma Low Pressure Sewer System and Septic Conversion Project - Scheduling and coordination, continuing review of design packages from Engineer of Record (EOR), continuing constructability and value engineering reviews and workshops, construction of vacuum sewer pump stations, construction of vacuum sewer collection systems, construction of water mains and force mains, pipeline testing, maintenance of traffic, site and roadway restoration, and start-up, commissioning, and turnover services for the vacuum sewer pump stations and collection systems. Because the Project includes multiple locations in the County, the overall scope will be divided into six (6) Work Areas as noted below: Area A - Ruskin (Area along W. Shell Point Road to Tampa Bay) Area B - Ruskin (Area along W. Shell Point Road and US- 41) Area C - Ruskin (Area around W. College Avenue and US- 41) Area D - Ruskin (Area between Mill Bayou and I-75) Area 1 - Wimauma (Area around FL-674 and Edina Street) Area 2 - Wimauma (Area north of Lake Wimauma and East of West Lake Drive) All questions related to this RFP must be submitted in writing via the Oracle online discussions message portal or to Hillsborough County's Procurement Analyst, Sybil Tucker at, Tuckers@HCFLGov.net. 17.9% for minorities and 6.9% for women Project has been cancelled
