Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Beaufort, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of May 15, 2024, this project is in the conceptual stage. Construction is not expected to begin until at least 2027. The Town of Beaufort (Town) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Qualified Professional Engineering Firms interested in performing planning and pre-engineering work aimed at a producing the basis of design for replacements of/improvements to four Town-owned sewer pump stations. Any firm wishing to be considered must be properly registered with the Office of the Secretary of State and with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors. Questions concerning this RFQ shall be submitted to Greg Meshaw, PE via email at g.meshaw@beaufortnc.org no later than 4:00 pm EDT, October 11, 2021. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
