Overaa Construction is the Construction Manager/General contractor (CM/GC) for Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL) for this project which consists of replacing Building 54 which currently houses their cafeteria. The intent of this project is to prepare the site for the construction of a new facility that will take the place of Building 54. Due to multiple funding sources between LBNL and the Department of Energy for this project all bidders will need to identify and provide in their proposals each scope of work and the corresponding cost between the (2) funding sources. Scope of Transit Hub and Utilities Project & New Facility Prep includes, but is not limited to: Utility relocation, electrical (special requirements apply), abatement, demolition, earthwork, earth retention, drilled piers, cast-in-place concrete, waterproofing, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, AC paving, shuttle stop shelter, site amenities, and landscaping. PREQUALIFICATION - All bidding subcontractors and suppliers on this project are subject to prequalification. WORK REQUIREMENTS - On-site personnel are subject to LBNL badging process requirements. TRADE PACKAGES - Trade packages for specific trades have been included and bids will be accepted based on these packages. SUBCONTRACT - A project specific sample subcontract which differs from the Overaa Standard Subcontract Agreement is included. By submitting a bid, bidders agree to all terms and conditions of Overaa's Subcontract Agreement; requesting any changes is grounds for bid to be determined non-responsive at Overaa's sole discretion.
