As of June 26,2023 this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 15, 2023. This project consists of the furnishing of all necessary labor, equipment and material for the complete construction of security improvements and associated appurtenances at the Villages Pump Station #13 and Public Works Service Building facilities. The security improvements and related work shall include all necessary restoration, electrical work and related for a complete operating installation. All work shall be performed in accordance with and as indicated in the Contract Documents. The bidder is hereby notified that this project is the first of multiple security improvement projects at Village water facilities, which are expected to be completed over the next few years. No pre-bid conference will be held. A bid deposit in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid shall accompany each proposal and shall be in the form of a cashiers check, properly certified check, or bid bond made payable to Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130). Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions. The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village.
