The project consists of the replacement of existing HVAC Systems with new HVAC System. Office areas will be heated, ventilated, and air conditioned by packaged rooftop units with natural gas heating sections. Air distribution will be ducted above the ceiling. Area above the ceiling will function as a return air plenum. Area will be zoned by variable air volume terminal units. Rooftop units will be complete with dampers and controls for economizer operation, using outside air for cooling whenever outside temperature permits. Rooftop unit heating sections will have modulating gas valves to control leaving air temperature for temperature and humidity control. A bid alternate is included to provide heating to the Garage / Shop area with natural gas-fired suspended unit heaters. Existing sidewall exhaust fans will provide ventilation. Architectural work as required for removal/replacement of existing ceilings, floor cutting and patching, construction of soffits and chases as required for ductwork or piping. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the County or the Department of Labor, or determined by the Court on review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. All bids shall be in accordance with the Specifications and Project Manual prepared therefore. The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
