The work shall include sewer cleaning methods such as hydro-jetting and hydraulic bucket cleaning (if needed), post cleaning video inspection and other methodologies needed (that do not damage the PVC liner in the pipe) to provide full capacity functionality. This work shall also include submission of a sewer bypass system plan for approval from the City prior to commencement of the project. This includes working with an existing splitter structure to divert flows. The means and methods of the diversion plan and bypass design will be the sole responsibility of the contractor. The project also includes the process of drying the material removed from the sewer line and transporting it to the designated County's Bena Landfill (which is located at 2951 Neumarkel Road, Bakersfield, CA 93307) for disposal. This project is a Re-bid and is part of the former project. This project consists of only Phase 2. Phase 1 is not part of this scope of work.
