As of November 18, 2022, project was awarded to Lone Star Paving, awarded amount is $159,636.47. Bids must be submitted on City of Dripping Springs bid forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a cashier check or bid bond, payable to the City of Dripping Springs, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Bidder. The Mercer Street Road Project generally includes: 516 square yards of full depth roadway repair, milling, 8,870 square yards of HMAC paving, signage, and pavement markings. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any nonconforming Bid and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and inform themselves regarding all local conditions.
