The City of Jefferson, Fire Department, seeks to contract with a firm for the design and oversight of the replacement of the current burn building and repairs or replacement of the drill tower. The City wants to update, restore and allow for class A and class B live fire training at the Fire Department training facility at Hyde Park, establish classroom space for simulated incident command training and provide a control center for the drill tower, provide for additional outdoor classroom space with appropriate social distancing, and larger class size to continue to support the Fire Department and assisting agencies. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
