For the Lincoln Circle Fencing Project Bid Security Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or a certified check payable to Falls Township, in the amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, in favor of the Township, which shall be forfeited if the bidder fails to enter into a Contract with the Township of Falls after notice of the acceptance of the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Performance Bond in an amount equal to the amount of the contract. Such Performance Bond, and the aforementioned Bid Bond, shall be issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act may apply to this Contract and, if so, the successful Bidder shall pay no less than the Wage Rates determined for the project area as set forth in the Contract Documents. In addition, the Falls Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance applies to this project. The responsible contractor ordinance is included with the Contract Documents. It shall be a requirement that all bidders complete the Responsible Contractor Certification form and provide an executed copy with their bid, including an executed Certification from each subcontractor who may work on the project. The Responsible Contractor Certification Form can be found in the Contract Documents. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive technical defects or any informality in Bids, and to accept or reject any part of any Bid in the best interests of the Township.
