Renovation of an educational facility in Piketon, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Invitation to bid for the replacement of five McQuaygeothermal heat pumps located at the main schoollocated at 175 Beaver Creek Rd., Piketon, OH45661. A link will be provided and labeled as "300 heat pump replacement 2022". All bid information can be accessed at this link. 1) Furnish and install five new direct replacement Daikin geothermal heat pumps. No alternatives will be approved. Floor Plans and access to units available to view upon visit. Heat Pumps included; HP1-29A, HP29B, HP1-29C, HP1-27. 2) Isolate existing glycol loop lines. Flexible stainless lines shall be replaced with new ones. System must be properly purged of air when back in service. 3) Reuse existing electrical disconnect, conduit and wiring. 4) Reuse and install existing control wiring and controls. These will need to be relocated to the new unit 5) Reuse and install the existing secondary drip pan. 6) Provide and install a new Little Giant low profile condensate pump. Replace the vinyl discharge hose with new. 7) Reuse and adapt to existing duct. Duct must be sealed and insulated as originally installed. 8) Contractor will be responsible for creating access to the heat pump and all tools and equipment needed. 9) Contractor will be responsible for all clean up and reassembling and/or replacing anything damaged or moved as part of the replacement. 10) New units shall be started and tested in all modes of operation and verified by CTC staff.
