Site work for a water / sewer project in Addison, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of existing water main and appurtenances replacement on Winthrop Ave and Park Street. The project also includes new water services, casing pipe installation, full depth pavement patches over the water main trench within the Winthrop Ave and Park Street Pavement, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, and parkway restoration. Water services consist of providing new corporation stops and curb stops for single family residential services. The old curb stop will be removed, and a new copper line will be coupled to the old water service line and run to the new curb stop. Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work locations can be summarized as follows: Winthrop Ave and Park Street consist of 2340 L.F. of watermain replacement. Addison 2022 Water Main Improvements This project will have a start date of November 14th, 2022 and have a final completion date of May 1st, 2023. This is an Illinois Prevailing Wage project. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided and returned in a sealed envelope. The self-addressed label provided with the bid document must be affixed to the outside of the sealed envelope. A bid bond, certified check, bank draft or irrevocable letter of credit on a solvent bank, payable to the Village of Addison, or cash in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the faithful performance of the Contract and also a Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as a security for the furnishing materials in connection of the contract. The successful bidder shall also furnish a Certificate of insurance. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening of bids without the consent of said Municipality for a period of sixty (60) days after the schedule time of opening bids. Minorities and women-own businesses (W.B.E.) are encouraged to participate. The Village of Addison reserves the right to waive all technicalities, and to accept and or reject part(s) of any or all bids which it deems advantageous.
