Site work for a water / sewer project in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work to be performed shall consists of furnishing all tools and equipment and performing all labor necessary for constructing water system improvements as set forth in the Bid, as shown on the Drawings and as Specified. The work generally providing containment around the filter area, performing surface preparation on the filter cell walls, central gullet walls, gullet floor and wash water troughs, wash water trough metal extensions (approximate square footage 5260 sqft) and applying the prime and final coat as per the technical specifications at the Fulbright Water Treatment Plant in Springfield, Missouri. The work under this contract Contractor will be responsible for maintaining negative pressure in the containment to ensure no blast media escapes to the remaining filter room. No Pre-proposal conference shall be held for this project. Proposals will not be publicly opened or read since the selection process will be determined based upon competitive negotiated procurement procedures for proposals as described in this RFP. All proposals shall be irrevocable for ninety (90) days after the time for opening of proposals.
