PD-071 For the following: ASBESTOS REMOVAL MENDHAM TOWN HALL. Bids may also be delivered in person to the Office of the Township Clerk, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM any weekday before bid opening. Bids must be plainly marked SEALED BID and the envelope containing the bid shall be endorsed on its face with the name of the person, firm or corporation making such a proposal and the bid name for which such proposal is made. The Township will not be responsible for the premature opening of any bid not so marked. Bids opened and read shall remain irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days. Bids may be awarded by section or item, if it is to the advantage of Mendham Township to do so. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive immaterial informalities, or to accept any bid which, in the opinion of the Township will be in the best interest of Mendham Township. A deposit of 10% in the form of a Certified Check/Bond made payable to Mendham Township shall accompany the proposal. Deposits of unsuccessful bidders will be returned at the time of awarding contracts. The deposit of the successful bidder will be retained by the Township until delivery of all materials/service is made.
