Renovation of an educational facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The Atlanta Public Schools ("APS") seeks a Construction Manager at Risk ("Construction Manager") to complete a project to improve the appearance and function of the Oglethorpe Elementary School facility. Location- Oglethorpe Elementary School (North Metro Program) 601 Beckwith Street, SW Atlanta, Georgia 30314 Installation of new building wide HVAC systems and components. Install new electrical switchgear and power distribution components. Structural modifications in support of the HVAC improvements. Electrical modifications in support of the new HVAC improvements. Plumbing modifications in support of the new HVAC improvements. Architectural modifications in support of the new HVAC improvements. Suspended ceiling / lighting removal and replacement. Wire management system. Modifications to the fire alarm and life safety systems. Modifications to the clock bell intercom system in support of the HVAC improvements. Modifications to existing building automation system (BAS) in support of the new HVAC components and improvements. Other building and infrastructure modifications as necessary. Interior finish upgrades, interior and exterior painting. Construction of a Security Vestibule. City of Atlanta permitting. Coordination with the Atlanta Public Schools Commissioning Agent and Test & Balance vendors on all phases of the project from pre-planning to conclusion. This will include Commissioning and Test & Balance report reviews and responses to written comments. Final sign off on the reports.
