Sealed bids will be received for the furnishing of item/items listed below. Subsequent to the opening, the bid/bids will be evaluated by the appropriate party/parties and will be presented to the Executive Director for awarding, rejecting, or holding for further advisement and/or evaluation. Vendors/Contractors will have the option to submit their bids & bid bonds (if applicable) electronically through Central Bidding or by paper copy to TLCD. Written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid for public works shall be submitted at the time of bidding unless the bidder has complied with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). The LOWEST qualified bid will be the one determined to offer the best advantage to the Terrebonne Levee & Conservation District. The Terrebonne Levee & Conservation District reserves the right to reject any bid for just cause in the best interest of the Terrebonne Levee & Conservation District. A Bid will be considered responsive if it conforms in all respects with the conditions and requirements of the Bidding Documents. In order to be considered responsive, Bid Proposals must: (a) be fully completed, signed and be responsive in all respects to the conditions of the Notice to Contractors and Instructions to Bidders; (b) be made on the Proposal Forms provided and submitted intact as part of the Contract Documents; (c) be accompanied by the required items listed in the appropriate sections of the Bidding documents. Successful bidders must register with the Terrebonne Parish Sales and Use Tax Department for use tax purposes. The envelope shall be marked with the bid number, bid title, name, and address and state license number (if applicable) of the Bidder as set forth in the Invitation to Bidders. The Terrebonne Levee & Conservation District reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with State Bid Law.
