Emergency Electrical Distribution System and Storm Restoration Work and Related Services KUB would like to extend the opportunity to execute on-going multi-year agreements with KUB to provide Electrical Distribution System Emergency and Storm Restoration Work and Related Services on an as needed and will call basis. The Work shall include but not be limited to electric distribution system (13200/7620V) maintenance as directed by the KUB. The Work will involve setting and removing poles, guys, and anchors; removing and / or installing conductor, conductor support hardware, removing and / or installing conductors, removing and /or installing transformers including single and three phase banks; transferring, removing and /or installing other electrical equipment (I.E. lights, cutouts, switches, etc.), removing trees and vegetation from electric lines, clearing electric line right-of-ways, and any other electric system emergency or storm restoration activities. The Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) is receiving bids/rates for Emergency Electrical Distribution System and Storm Restoration Work and Related Services. KUB invites qualified contractors licensed in the state of Tennessee to provide pricing for services and to execute a multi-year agreement which will expire October 1, 2026. The agreement will not be exclusive and may be offered to other contractors at any point during the term of this agreement. The agreement will provide predetermined pricing and dispatch / communication channels to help facilitate Knoxville Utilities Board in providing a rapid response in case of emergencies. It will allow for annual pricing updates, but it will not provide any regular daily system maintenance work or capital construction work.
