This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Pre-Bid Meeting No Bidders are hereby notified that any service purchase order issued as a result of this bid may be subject to the provisions and regulations of the City of Santa Barbara Ordinance No. 5384, Santa Barbara Municipal Code, Chapter 9.128 and its impending regulations relating to the payment of Living Wages. If there is a difference between the City's Living Wage rate and Prevailing Wage rates for similar classifications of labor, the contractor and his subcontractors shall pay no less than the highest wage rate. In accordance with Civil Code 9550, if the bid exceeds $25,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid as well as a separate Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total.
