Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Marrero, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
We extend this bid to cover all labor, materials, equipment and necessary essentials to install play structure, concrete slab and sidewalk and poured in place rubber safety surface at Lincolnshire Walking Track. A bid bond will be required with bid submission in the amount of 5% of the total bid. A Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price is due at the signing of the contract. A Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price is due at the signing of the contract. The work shall be substantially complete within is 180 calendar days of the written notice to proceed and completed and shall be ready for final acceptance no more than 30 calendar days after substantial completion. In accordance with Resolution No. 113646, as amended, and Resolution No. 138482, Bidder agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of $250-00 for: (1) each consecutive calendar day after the agreed date of substantial completion that the work remains substantially incomplete, and (2) each consecutive calendar day after the 30th day following the actual date of substantial completion that the work has not been finally completed.
