The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PWD) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms (Respondents) to provide engineering on an as needed basis for the Infrastructure Management Plan (IMP) sidewalks, Neighborhood Access and Mobility Program (NAMP), and Pavement Preservation projects. There are three critical functions anticipated for the awardees for this solicitation: Exhibit preparation for sidewalk and flatwork construction, to include possible drainage analysis Site surveillance of street preservation projects--including PRIMELink interface Site visits/inspections of street conditions to validate and confirm street maintenance project application selection and project lists Scope of services may include but are not limited to engineering design and preparation of design for construction for IMP sidewalks and NAMP projects, to include preparation of Water Pollution Abatement Plan (WPAP) documents for submittal to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for review/approval for projects over the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone as required by TCEQ. Additionally, field surveillance for pavement preservation and data collection/site investigation for pavement preservation may be required. Other services may include construction project/program related surveys and studies. Areas to be serviced are construction site locations city-wide throughout the City. Please note that all inspection and surveillance services have a mandatory documentation requirement in PRIMELink--the city system of record; and PRIMELink daily quantity entries. The city can provide PRIMELink training as required, but this is a non-payable item for hours.
