The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses that meet the minimum qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids for the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) McNamara Terminal Apron Reconstruction - Package #2 project located at DTW. This project includes (A) work associated with the reconstruction of the McNamara Terminal apron, Taxiway U and Taxilanes U9 and Q Portland cement concrete pavement sections; (B) installation of hot fluid applied waterproofing on subsurface tunnel structure; (C) reconstruction of tunnel access hatch concrete (D) installation of new guardrails, bollards, and AOA fence; (E) installation of two (2) new cast-in-place jet fuel isolation valve vaults; (F) adjustments of existing structures including but not limited to storm sewer manholes and hydrant fuel pits; (G) installation of new roll up door loop and laser motion detectors.
