Renovation of a mixed-use development in Mount Morris, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Barton Malow Builders has been contracted by the Owner in the capacity of Construction Manager for the Project and shall act as representative of the Owner to the extent required/allowed under its Owner contract. All bidders are required to prequalify to the requirements described in Document 002113- Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be pre-qualified for this bid package by Barton Malow Builders and Owner before document distribution or receipt of bids per the Instructions to Bidders. Barton Malow Builders and Owner reserve the right to request qualification forms or additional information from any Bidder before issuing Bidding Documents, receiving Bid Proposals, or awarding the Agreement. Familial Disclosure Form required with Bid. Bid Proposals shall be on forms furnished by Barton Malow Builders via Building Connected. Bidders shall not withdraw or revoke Bid Proposals for a period of 90 Days after date for receipt of Bid Proposals. Bidders will be required to submit with their Bid Proposals a Bid Security, in the amount of 5% of base bid, by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the Project is located. The successful Bidder(s) will be required to enter into an agreement with Barton Malow Builders on the Agreement Form identified in the Project Manual and maintain its prequalification status with Barton Malow until the work is completed. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools on the AIA Document A132 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Construction Manager as Adviser, 2019 Edition. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
