For Contract for Replacement of Water Treatment Plant High Lift Pump #5 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Work Site: Northbrook Water Treatment Plant, 750 Dundee Road, Northbrook, IL 60062 Project Description: Replacement of Variable Frequency Drive for Water Treatment Plant High Lift Pump Number 5. Pre-Bid Conference: There will be no formal Pre-Bid meeting. However all Bidders must arrange to visit the Work Site prior to submission of Proposals. The Proposal of any Bidder who has not inspected the Work Site may rejected at the discretion of the Owner and if accepted no allowance or exception will be made regarding any aspect of the Work that such a visit would have revealed or clarified. Any questions or observations by a Proposed Bidder during such visits may be responded to via Addenda and/or Supplemental Informational Notice. Bid Security, Bonds and Insurance: A Bid Bond is NOT required for this project. Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds will be required upon Owners acceptance of Contract/Proposal. Prevailing Wage: Contractors shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates on the Project as established by the United States Department of Labor and the State of Illinois Department of Labor. Owners Acceptance: Bids will only be received from qualified contractors. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, to postpone the bid opening, or to advertise for new proposals, if in the judgment of the Board of Trustees their best interests will be promoted thereby.
