The Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, an Executive Department of the State of Maryland, hereinafter called "the Department," "Juvenile Services," or "DJS," is soliciting Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a contractor to perform cleaning services at the Maryland Youth Residence Center (MYRC) / Evening Reporting Center (ERC) seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. It is anticipated services will begin December 1, 2022 and continue for a one (1) year period. This is a Small Business Reserve procurement for which award is limited to certified small business vendors. Only businesses that meet the requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article, 14-501 - 14- 505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award. The Contract award will be made under the appropriate COMAR Procurement Regulation. If you have any questions pertaining to this project, please submit them in writing to the Robert P. Gay, Procurement Officer as soon as possible via email at Robert.gay@maryland.gov . The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and minor irregularities defects in bids, when in the opinion of the Department it is in the Department's best interests. Bids are an irrevocable offer and may not be withdrawn within 90 days after opening.
