Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver ("City"} of it's intent to contract with Commercial Vent Cleaning Ltd. for the supply of commercial kitchen hood and exhaust cleaning services. Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation ("VPB") operates commercial kitchens at golf courses and concessions stands throught the City. Vancouver Coastal Health requires bi-annual cleaning for the clubhouses and annual cleaning for the concession stands. Failure to maintain and service the equipment is a safety issue and may reslut in fines being issued. Commerical Vent Cleaning Ltd's services include accesible areas of the exhaust fan, duct to kitchen hood and the hood itself, including filters. A full report and photos of the areas cleaned is also provided. Previously VPB contrated the service to Coastal Spray which is no longer operational. The term is expected to be for a period of twelve months.
