Envelopes containing bids shall be sealed, marked Bid Proposal for Road Improvements Any bid received after the October 17, 2022 deadline of 1:00 P.M. will be returned to the bidder unopened. The Project includes the Paving of Various Township Roads. The Prevailing Wage Act 442 applies to this project. All materials must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications. Item #1: 33408 Sq. Yds. Full Width Milling to a Depth of 1.5 Inches. Item #2: Deliver and Place 8026 Sq. Yds. 12.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) to a Compacted Depth of 2 inches. Item #3: Deliver and Place 25382 Sq. Yds. 9.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) to a Compacted Depth of 1.5 Inches. Item #4: Deliver and Place 75 Tons. 12.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) Leveling Course. Item #5: Deliver and Place 75 Tons. 9.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) Leveling Course. Amount of paving is dependent on appropriate weather conditions with an emphasis on prioritized roads as highlight in the bid documents page 33.
