Question Deadline 10/10/2022 at 5:00 PM ET The work involves demolition/removal of the existing standby emergency generator and appurtenances and the furnishing and installation of a new emergency generator, transfer switch and appurtenances. SCOPE OF WORK - It is the intent of these specifications to describe the work necessary to complete the replacement of the existing emergency standby generator, transfer switch and appurtenances. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Emergency Generator Upgrade o Prepare and submit a detailed work schedule to Owner. o Removal of the existing generator and transfer switch and associated wiring and conduit. o Installation of the new emergency standby generator, transfer switch and appurtenances. o Install new system wiring and install new conduit as may be required. o Arrange and schedule all applicable electrical code inspections. o Unit testing, start-up and operational demonstration with Owner. o Disposal of existing generator and transfer switch, etc. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, machinery apparatus, tools, and perform all operations necessary to install, equip, adjust, and put into satisfactory operation the work specified or shown on the drawings. The Contractor shall connect the various items or sections of work as to form a complete and properly operating whole. Any labor, equipment or apparatus not specifically mentioned herein, or shown on the drawings which may be necessary for the proper completion of the entire work, or of the individual items thereof within the intent of this specification and drawings shall be furnished by the Contractor without additional compensation by the Authority
