All questions and answers will be posted at www.rcisd.org/rfp; Questions related to the RFP can be submitted to bids@rcisd.org This facility is to have the following new Silent Knight fire panel with SK devices: o Must have complete voice evacuation system o Demolition of existing fire alarm system once new system is up and inspected o Existing wall mount devices must have cover plate upon completion o Will require night time work to avoid interruption with student instruction o Replace existing older audio visuals with new System Sensor equipment and add proper coverage in the remaining restrooms and any other area lacking proper audio-visual coverage. o Add proper audio visuals to deaf education classroom. o Zone list shall be provided WORK INCLUDED This section specifies the requirements for furnishing and commissioning a fully functional addressable fire alarm with full interface with other related systems. Work shall include, but not limited to, the following. o Fire alarm control and annunciator panels o Manual fire alarm stations o Automatic fire, smoke, and heat detection devices o Audible and visual alarm notification devices o Required batteries, battery panels, and associated accessories o Fire door control, security door control o Air handler duct smoke detection, and shutdown o Sprinkler system PIVs, OS&Y valves, and tamper switch monitoring o Sprinkler systems water flow and/or pressure switch monitoring o Monitoring of fire pump controls (When applicable) o Fire/smoke damper control o Activation of deluge and pre-action sprinkler systems (When applicable) o Elevator recall and power shutdown (When applicable) o System acceptance testing and commissioning
