Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of the Freeburg Community High School District #77. Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender, unopened. Bids submitted via facsimile machine or email will not be accepted. Bid Proposals will be firm for ninety (90) calendar days. Specifications: o Manufacturing Details: - Box Pleat with 3 1/2 " 10# Jute, #3 Brass Grommets, Steel S-Hooks, 12" Leading Edge Turn Back, 2" Double Turned Side Hems, 6" nominal Bottom Hems, Separate 3 1/2 " chain Pocket with Rust Resistant $8 jack Chain Enclosed for bottom weight. - 150% Fullness - No Lining - No Bottom Bib o Front Valance, Main Curtain and Side Curtains. Weight 24 (+/-) oz/yd, Opaque, Charisma Velvet (or similar material.) Standard color (similar to existing color of curtains) to be determined - Main bi-parting curtain Use existing hardware, supports, and carriers. Use existing floor pulley - Front Valance Include chenille/felt letter approximately 24" x 24". Colors and font style to be detemined. Use existing hardware, supports - Side Curtains New floor pulleys for the taller curtains that cover the stairs on both ends of the stage. Use existing hardware, supports and carriers o Rear Valances, Rear Travelers and Side Legs. Weight 13.6 oz/yd, Opaque, Commando Cloth (or similar material) Color: Black - Rear Valances Use existing hardware, supports and ties - Rear Travelers New rope for the left biparting curtain to replace the existing cut/torn rope. Use existing hardware, supports, and carriers. Use existing floor pull - Side Legs Use existing hardware, supports and ties. oAll curtains to be Inherently Flame-Retardant. oInclude all necessary hardware & attachments to secure & properly install tracks with curtains. oField measurement is recommended oIncludes removal and off site disposal of existing curtains by vendor oIncludes installation of new curtains oBid should include a 10% contingency amount for unforeseen hardware replacement. Any contingency not used will be removed from the final invoice. o A Tax Exempt letter will be provided to the company after the Board awards the contract, so no tax should be included in the bid.
