Project No. 22-3-146 Question Acceptance Deadline 10/10/2022 06:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No The Project includes the following Work: Excavation and grading for a 7.1 million gallon surface reservoir, soil disposal, subgrade preparation, liner procurement and placement, wet well construction, wet well suction line, fill line, and miscellaneous demolition The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: A. East Reservoir: Excavation and grading for a 7.1 million gallon surface reservoir, including disposal for approximately 24,000 cubic yards of excessive soil. Soil disposal will be on Owner parcel immediately south of the East Reservoir area. Subgrade preparation and procurement and placement of approximately 130,000 square feet of liner material. B. Wet Well: Installation of an 8-foot diameter precast concrete wet well per the drawings; including ladder, two 6-inch DR25 C900 PVC pump discharge pipes (18 feet each) with wall pipe penetrations, fittings, restrained mechanical joints, plug valves (AWWA C517), and caps; with accommodations for 12-inch wet well suction line. C. Wet Well Suction Line: Installation of approximately 80 feet of 12-inch DR25 C900 PVC pipe with a 12-inch plug valve (AWWA C517). D. Fill Line: Installation of approximately 60 feet of 12-inch DR25 C900 PVC pipe with epoxy coated cast iron flapper valve. E. Discharge Line: Installation of two 6-inch DR25 C900 PVC pump discharge pipes (18 feet each) with wall pipe penetrations, fittings,restrained mechanical joints, plug valves(AWWA C517), and caps. F. Demolition: Demolition of items called out on drawings, including existing concrete around perimeter of existing reservoir, two concrete inlets, and existing pipe.
