**As of November 14,2022, no bids were received, no information for rebid.** Grand County Will Accept Proposals to Provide General Contractor Services for Modifications to Existing Space in the Airport Terminal Building to Accommodate Baggage Screening Equipment. Modification to existing terminal to accommodate a TSA baggage screening machine. This project will modify existing space to accommodate a Reduced Size Explosive Detection Systems (RSEDS) machine to be used by TSA (Transportation Security Administration) to screen baggage at the Canyonlands Regional Airport. Design work for this project has been completed and is available for review. The work will need to be scheduled into two phases in order to maintain operations of the Airline and TSA screening operations. Likely phasing will be: 1. Construct office spaces 111 and 110. Contractor will work with the Airline IT (Information Technology department) to coordinate cabling for computer equipment. The Airline will move equipment from office 115 into office 111 and current baggage screening operations into office110. 2. Remove existing wall of office 115 scheduled for demolition, construct new wall for office 115. The contractor will coordinate with the Airline IT for cabling necessary for computer equipment.
