Renovation of a water / sewer project in Canandaigua, New York. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of June 10, 2024, per owner a design team has been selected. Project is in early design phase. Their goal is to have design and NYSDEC approval by end of the year to send out bid in early 2025. Engineering Design Services for Water Resource Recovery Facility Resiliency During Wet Weather Events Sealed proposals will be accepted by the City of Canandaigua, Department of Public Works, for engineering services to provide detailed design and construction documents, and construction estimates for measures to deal with the bottlenecks in, and influx of grit that occurs at, the headworks of the City of Canandaigua's Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) during extreme rain events. No bidder may withdraw its proposal within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The City of Canandaigua reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid and to accept or reject any and all Bids, or options, that it deems to best serve the needs of the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
