Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in League City, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Update: https://www.leaguecitytx.gov/DocumentCenter/View/42501/Parks-PDF The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) contacted the City for a potential partnership, through a grant opportunity, to construct a Hike and Bike Trail from Ross Elementary School to Palomino Road. The proposed 10' wide Hike and Bike Trail will run on both the North and South sides of FM 518 from Ross Elementary School to Palomino Road. The distance is 1 mile for a total of 2 miles of trail at an estimated total cost of $2,918,817. This opportunity will leverage $583,763 of City funds, into $2,918,817 through a 20/80 match program to be managed by TxDOT. The City's match will come from 4B funds. The 4B Board approved support at the December 1, 2014 meeting with the understanding that with the approval of this project, a portion of the PK 1202 (Hike & Bike Phase 1 Project) may be delayed. The 4B Board felt that this was an excellent opportunity to leverage its funds and reprioritize its projects when matching funds are available. The trails will be located in TxDOT right-of-way and will be maintained by TxDOT upon completion. Funding from TxDOT will be let on January 2024 (as of February 2023). Project will be designed by TxDOT.
