UPDATE : This project provides for construction of a trail/sidewalk and pedestrian bridge improvements along Texas Avenue and Webster Street from FM 518 to League City Intermediate School and Goforth Elementary School. The project will provide safer access for students and will tie into the city’s existing trail system, completing portions of the Master Trails Plan. The costs have been updated since the estimates were developed for the SRTS grant project in 2018-2019 (which focused on Webster Street) and expanded to include the Texas Avenue area. The plans for the trail to Goforth Elementary School and League City Intermediate School include 6’ concrete walkways, a pedestrian bridge and a signalized intersection at Highway 270 and Webster Street. The limits of the project will be developed as this project moves forward.
